CATCHING DWARFS IN WROCLAW
Wroclaw is built on 12 islands on the Odra River. There you can walk he South Park, one of the biggest Wrocław parks, enjoy the shows of the Wroclaw’s fountain and while discovering the city, catching dwarfs. In Wroclaw you can find more than three hundred dwarf statues. The origin is in the communist years; in the 80’s a group of oppositors started to draw dwarf graffitis on top of the anti-communist signs that were constantly erased by the authorities. In 2005 the city ordered five small dwarf statues to adorn the main touristy sights of Wroclaw’s old town. They were an instant hit and soon the city demanded more and more dwarfs, each one representing a different profession or an aspect of everyday life.
ZAKOPANE: ADVENTURE IN THE MOUNTAINS
Zakopane is one of the best areas to travel with children in Poland. It is the Poland’s premier winter resort. In Zakopane you can hike the trails through the Tatra Mountains, enjoy adventure parks with zip lines, suspension bridges, slides, bouncy… surrounded by forests and beautiful views of the Tatra Mountains. In case of bad weather you can enjoy Zakopane Aqua Park, that offers two swimming pools overlooking the highest polish mountains. In summer the weather is wonderful: pleasant temperatures and little chilly at night.

DISCOVERING THE “SECRETS OF LIFE” IN WARSAW
Copernicus Science Centre (Centrum Nauki Kopernik) is a science museum standing on the bank of the Vistula River in Warsaw. It contains over 450 interactive exhibits that enable visitors to single-handedly carry out experiments and discover the laws of science for themselves. For example in “The World on the Move”, one can experience for oneself, how the astronaut Neil Armstrong must have felt, when he was standing on the moon. The exhibition “Lightzone” is a perfect place for people who like crime mysteries and in the exhibition. In “Humans and the Environment” the visitor gets to know the limits of our possibilities, the secrets of our senses and our body. In the planetarium projections onto a dome and modern multimedia technology give the participants the impression that they are travelling to the remotest corners of the cosmos, into the depths of an ocean or inside a volcano. Experiments can be conducted also in the open air.
